The "Long Long Trailer" is from the era of "I Love Lucy" and Desi. Enjoy one of the original Tiny Houses in a 1957 Spartan Imperial Mansion. The vintage trailer is close to Dripping Springs and the Hill Country. The trailer sleeps 2, has its own deck, living room, full bath, kitchen, private room with queen size bed and a 2nd small room with futon couch. A big breakfast is offered on Saturday morning that served at the main house and the 4+ acres is shared by many 2 and 4 legged creatures.
Experience what it was like when Lucy and Desi were traveling the country in their "Long Long Trailer". Staying in the Spartan is a unique experience with turquoise kitchen counter tops, a copper backsplash all adds to the luxury that was the Spartan Imperial Mansion. The Queen of the road in the 1950's. This is the original silver bullet.
This vintage silver trailer is completely original except for the new birch floors. Decorated in a southwest 1950's theme this beautiful old lady has a main living room, a bedroom with a queen sized bed, a full bath, a kitchen (we have disconnected the propane stove), coffee pot, microwave oven, full sized fridge, a additional front room with a futon couch. Outside your front door, there is a deck and a grill. While you are grilling you can enjoy the outdoor living space that includes a flower garden where you can watch the chickens come and go as they please. In addition, a home made breakfast is available on Saturday mornings. There is NEVER a dull moment here at the family farm. Nature at it's best.
Our guests are more than welcomed to roam the property. We have tables outside for you to leave your troubles behind and to commune with nature.
There are vegetable gardens, chickens and goats who call our place home. We welcome folks to take a tour of our farm with the owners. During the summer evenings there is a large deck off of the main house to enjoy the sunset. FYI...our sunsets are the best in the area.
The location is our family home and we have many other folks and creatures who live on the property who call this their home too. We hope that you can call it your home as well during your stay with us. This means that you are welcomed to be a part of the family if you want to be. On Saturdays we make a large breakfast for you to enjoy and get a visit in with Mark and I. This is totally up to you.
Our property is also used for a small community of a tiny house, a couple of RV's and 1 vintage silver trailers. We take pride in our tiny community and love all of our residents who help assist with the vision of the farm. We embrace a minimalist and self sustaining lifestyle. We believe Airbnb is based on community and has provided its users with the unique opportunity to "live like a local." If our property doesn't seem like the right fit for you then we encourage you to look elsewhere.

Mark and I love hosting our guests meals at the Main House. We are lucky to have many antiques that came with my family from Germany while they were immigrating in the 1930's. Please see the pictures.

You will have your own parking and entrance to the cottage. You will have your own driveway, parking and entrance to the trailer. We do have lots of chickens around the property so we ask that you drive slow down the drive.

I along with my husband Mark, own a small family farm (Whitestone Family Farm) outside of Austin, Texas. (Dripping Springs) We love our farm and everything that goes on in it. I have 12 goats, chickens, a large aquaponic system, gardens and are working towards trans farming. In addition we have bee hives.
I have traveled extensively and my favorite past time is to hang out with my two young adult daughters. We love to eat out, drink coffee, hike and visit new places.
Things I can't live without...
1. The word of God
4. Good food
5. Family traditions
I am easy going and my family definitely knows how it is to be a stranger in a strange land. We are very hospitable and will visit with just about anyone. We are very casual, unpretentious and just basic good folk. (I hope)....
