Whilst you will be independent in terms of cooking and day to day life, we will be there to help with most things, including your laundry. There will be a compulsory two hour training session at the beginning of your stay, which will be conducted under Scottish Licensing Laws to help you with the ins and outs of bar management. Join our team to plan events during your stay, use the beer garden, learn how to line clean, pour a pint or enjoy our book section and stunning views of Wigtown. Help behind the bar and chat with the locals.
We recommend you read up on Wigtown to prepare you for your visit. There is a lot to see and it we would encourage you to know what is in the area both in terms of visitor attractions but also nearby towns and amenities. Please note that this is not a volunteer opportunity, nor are we paying you to work.
