If you are looking for a place with really cool vibes and artwork as well as a sustainable garden this is it. If you are looking for comfort with rest and relaxation, absolutely not. The biggest issue we had was that the bedroom wall backs up to train tracks with large freight t…
I apologize that you and your guests weren't able to sleep during your stay. I wish this issue would have been brought to my attention during your stay. As for comfort, it's a very industrial warehouse that has been converted into a live/work artist studio as you can see in the pictures (it's not for everyone but most people seem to love it.) The area where I live is marked as a "Quiet Zone." Trains are not allowed to honk their horns nor go over a certain speed to make the least noise possible. I understand that for some people, it takes some time to get used to but my other guest never seemed to mind it at all. I also understand that some people walk more than others. The Alamodome is literally 1.4 miles away. According to (Hidden by Airbnb) maps this is a 4 min drive from my house or a 29 min walk. I'm sure Uber couldn't have been more than $5. The Riverwalk is 15 miles long connecting the northern museum reach through downtown all the way down to the historic mission reach. I clearly state that my warehouse is located in Southtown Arts District and live next to the river walk mission reach. It is literally 0.2 miles away an easy 3 min walk (you can see it from my house). If you're looking for the more touristy part of the Riverwalk (which I would never recommend) thats only 1.2 miles away. You and your guests came for the Final Four NCAA Finals all of downtown is blocked off and there is hundreds of thousands of people walking around everywhere. I apologize that getting around might have been difficult and frustrating. I truly hope that your next trip to San Antonio is more relaxing.
