We welcome you into our apartment, located on the 3rd floor of a 4 stories building. It is a spacious 3 bedroom apartment, or as it is know in Québec a 5 1/2. We rent out the guest room, which has a Queen bed, chest of drawers, hanging space and desk with chair, there's plenty of room to store your belongings. You will feel very comfortable as you easily unpack and relax.
The room faces the park behind the building, it has a nice window and gets a lot of light during the afternoon and has black-out curtains for your comfort at night.
• Easy free unlimited parking on our street (same side as the building - subject to availability, not a "guaranteed" place)

The apartment is our home, so Antoine, my husband, and I will be present. We're easy going, love nature and being outdoors. We are always available to answer questions or to give you recommendations, however, we both have our schedules so you will have some time to yourself as well. We try to let the guest set the interaction level, it can be as much or as little as you want.
There's hanging space for your clothes inside the closet in your room as well as a chest of drawers. There's also a little desk and chair that you can use to sit down and write about the great time you're having :) Or to be in your computer connected through our Wi-Fi.
The bathroom will be shared as there is only one in the apartment. As well as the kitchen, which is at your disposal if you wish to cook anything. The apartment is equipped with an oven, microwave, espresso machine, toaster and cooking utensils.
You will have a key to your room so that you can have all the privacy you need, and we're eager to meet you if you feel like talking.
Please note that there is no elevator. I can help carry luggage up the stairs :)
Check-in time during the weekend is flexible to whenever you arrive, because I work until 4 on weekdays we ask that you arrive after this time so that we can greet you in person. Check-out is flexible to fit your schedule :)
In the area there is a supermarket IGA, a small mini market and because it is located near Rue Maguire which is a pretty busy street, you will find everything nearby from a Vietnamese restaurant, little coffee shops, pharmacy, really all you may ask for at walking distance.
Feel free to message me if you would like more information about our place :)
• Non-smokers please.
• No pets allowed as per the building's rules.
• We prefer to take our shoes off inside the apartment, specially during winter months.
Hello! I'm Macarena, I am originally from Uruguay in South America and am now living with my husband, Antoine, in Quebec City. I'm studying international affairs at Université Laval and Antoine is trying to save the forests one tree at a time.
We love travelling, meeting new places and getting to know new people. We have traveled through the south of South America, including Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. We have also visited the United States mostly the east and west coast, and enjoy the national parks here in Québec. We're hoping our next big adventure will be getting to know Europe.
When we have free time we enjoy being outdoors, we like hiking and camping. We also enjoy road-trips and I particularly love water activities such as swimming and kayaking.
My life motto is "Don't ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive and go to that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive"
Languages are my passion and I love getting to know people from different cultures!
We really enjoy hosting and our goal is for you to have the best possible experience in Québec. We love meeting our guests and getting to know more about you, which is why we ask that before requesting to book with us you tell us a little bit about yourself :)
