Stayed here for a little more than 2 months and was overall a very quiet and enjoyable stay. Rachael was quite generous letting me take over the dinning room table to work and study while there. She is a very cool and chill although I didn't see her too much as she keeps to herself, is very busy and we were on different time schedules. By far the highlight of the stay is Morty the cat. He is a really cool, lovable cat and I'd be surprised if you didn't take a shine to him while visiting. There is a generous shelf in the fridge and nearby cupboard for groceries and supplies. You'll have access to the kitchen and all utensils. I had to supply 95% my own toilet paper while there. Notes for future guests: Place is in a semi-secluded gated community within the safe, clean suburb Reedy Creek Maccas is 15 min walk North Mellow Cafe and Chemist are a 6 min walk south Woolies, Zarraffas Coffee, BWS, Japanese food and some other shops are a 15 min walk South Transit Hub is a 10-15 walk from place and there you can catch the train (to Brisbane is approx 1 hour) or buses to various locations. Surfers Paradise is approximately 1hr10min by public transit Robina Town Centre and Mall is 15 min bus ride from location.
I found the house and room to be a little more basic than the listing and photo's suggested, and there was a little bit of confusion upon check in as the host was not present but other guests were which created a bit of an unusual atmosphere. Overall, though, the bed was comfortable, wifi worked well and kitchen was well equipped which are the main things I look for when booking through airbnb. I would say that it was good value for money given the lower price than other options in the area.
