Charming weatherboard house and garden. Our inner city home is on a quiet family friendly street with bike paths, trains and trams only minutes away. Central to the shops, cafes, restaurants and music venues of Northcote, Thornbury, Fitzroy and Brunswick. 20 minutes from the city and 5 minutes from Merri Creek and Ceres Environmental Park.
We're going away on a long honeymoon and hoping someone can enjoy our beautiful home while we're off exploring.
Our bright and comfortable house is a traditional victorian terrace set between Northcote high street and St Georges road - close to trams, trains and bike paths. Northcote is home to one of Melbourne's most interesting and eclectic mix of retailers, bars, pubs, cafes, restaurants and galleries. The area is brimming with good coffee, a broad range of restaurants and the beautiful Westgarth cinema. Great yoga studios are a short walk away, as well as a golf course, tennis courts parks and open air pools. Perfect for families, couples and business (URL HIDDEN) is plenty to explore and discover!
The house has hard wood floors throughout and an open fireplace which we encourage you to use on cold nights as it makes the house particularly cosy! There is also ducted heating with a vent in each room. We have a good size bathroom with shower and tub as well as a laundry area with washing machine. The master bedroom has large double windows with stain glass, a king size bed and plenty of wardrobe space. The second bedroom is also a generous size with double bed, armchair and again lots of storage.
The house is equipped with everything you could need, all necessary kitchen appliances, brand new fridge, coffee grinder (fresh coffee beans supplied) and a stocked pantry with essentials.
One of the things we love most about our home is the large and leafy garden. There is a large timber table setting with lanterns and speakers for outdoor dining.
There is also a good size wood pile available to you.
Our home is ideally suited to a longer term stay. If you are looking for an extended stay please get in touch to discuss reduced rates.
Guests have access to the whole house and garden. We do have a back shed which is locked and off limits.
We will be away on our honeymoon but a family member who lives down the road will be managing the property in our absence.
