Located in downtown Starkville, MS., this cozy home is within walking distance from a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and Mississippi State shuttle bus.
The house has really nice finishes and has a lot of charm. It seems brand new inside and is in a convenient location. There is a TV in each bedroom in addition to the living area and has plenty of space. It's is a really quiet area too. Could use a little more seating in the living area. When we arrived, the A/C had already been set and the house was very comfortable. It's walking distance to downtown.
We really enjoyed our weekend in Starkville for my daughter's graduation from MSU. The house was so convenient to everywhere we needed to be. Everything in the house is lovely and up to date. We found the kitchen especially wonderful! John was quickly in touch if I had questions. I strongly recommend booking here if you need a place to stay in Starkville.
I stayed in the bungalow for two days during Super Bulldog Weekend / Cotton District Arts festival and for a campus tour. The location is superb - it's within a stone's throw of restaurants and shopping on Main street (Mugshots, 929 Coffee House, Restaurant Tyler, Pita Pit, Starkville Cafe, Biscuit Cafe and others). The house was well furnished with new and modern bedding and fixtures, DirecTV and LCD tv's and Wifi. I arranged for key pickup with the owner, and he was courteous, attentive and typically communicated over text/phone. Will recommend to friends and i'd want to stay here again next time i'm in town.
This home is centrally located and easy to get to. The house itself is lovely on the inside. It looks to have been recently renovated. It is a very spacious home. The decor was clean and well thought out. John was easy to communicate with. The bathroom was stocked with basic amenities, such as shampoo/conditioner and soap. And there were plenty of towels. I would recommend this home to anyone. And I do plan to stay here again when I'm in Starkville.
