Those who love farm animals can request to feed the ducks, hold the chickens or pet the goats!
No access west of the back porch (back) and west of main garage (front) (unless permission granted to see pasture or farm animals). No access allowed in irrigation ditch.
I respect my guests' privacy but am available for questions, etc, or if you need a restaurant recommendation, etc! You may see me gardening or tending to the farm animals :)

- RENTAL AGREEMENT for "THE LAUREL HOUSE" This agreement does not create a tenancy or residence. You must depart at the appropriate time. 1. CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 3:00 P.M. PST AND CHECK-OUT TIME IS 11:00 A.M.PST. NO early check-ins or late departures. Home and premises are NO SMOKERS, Smoking will result in the loss of the damage deposit. 2. PETS are not permitted in or around home under any conditions. Please do not ask for exception as the answer will be no. Violation is grounds for immediate termination with no refunds of rent, or deposit We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. This is not a “party” house. This is a quiet neighborhood and excessive noise will be reported. 3. Cleaning & Security Fees: There is a nonrefundable cleaning fee of $100 for the main house. The cleaning fee does not cover excessive messes which will be charged a minimum of $30 per hour to clean. $300 is required as a security/damage deposit & is fully refundable if no damage is done to the home, its contents, or property & its belongings. •All debris, rubbish, and discards are placed in appropriate receptacle (recycle bins). •Soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher. •The home is left locked. •No linens are lost or damaged. •No early check-in or late check-out. 4. REPAIRS AND DAMAGES. RENTER acknowledges that unless OWNER is notified on day of check-in of any damage or cleaning concerns, then thereafter, all damages or concerns to the property during the occupancy will be RENTER’S responsibility and must be reported to OWNER and paid prior to departure. Failure to comply will give the OWNER the right to deduct appropriate sums from the deposit. RENTER, shall be responsible for damages or any breach of this agreement caused by his/her negligence or the that of his/her family. 5. OWNER is not responsible for compensation of any part of rent, due to failure of fixtures, appliances or utilities resulting in short term inconveniences. All repairs will be attended to as soon as reasonably possible. 6. OWNER reserves the right to attend to yard maintenance / mowing of lawn, as needed. 7. RENTER shall keep and maintain the premises in a clean and sanitary condition at all times. 8. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS. Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advanced payment, deposit, &/or rental money. & the party will not be permitted to check-in. 9. LOCKED AREAS for which RENTER is not provided a key, such as OWNERS personal storage areas, are exempt from this lease agreement and are off limits to the RENTER. They include areas west of the rental, garages, well house, pond, barn, pasture, irrigation canal. Forced entry into these areas is cause for immediate termination and RENTER will be charged for damage and/or missing items. 10. LOST, STOLEN OR ABANDONED ARTICLES. OWNER shall not have any responsibility for lost, stolen or abandoned items. There will be a $25.00 plus shipping for any returned items. 11. INDEMNITY. The RENTER agrees to release and indemnify the OWNER from and against all liability, should anyone be injured upon the premises during the stay, resulting from any cause whatsoever, except in the case of personal injury caused by the negligent act of the OWNER. 12. . Home & property are not childproof. There are unfenced pond, stairwells, glass, other breakable objects, plants, etc. If children do come they MUST be supervised closely & guests take full responsibility for their safety & any damage that may occur. 13. By accepting this reservation guests agree to all the rules and release owner of all liability. Violation of these rules may result in immediate eviction and or loss of damage deposits.
