Ole MacMathieu homestead nature respite offers urban outdoor glamping. Glamping is camping in comfort, and glamour. This private residence has gardens, herbs, ponds, greenhouses, chickens, a sweat lodge, occasionally a rabbit and house cat. The outdoor back yard geodesic 12 foot diameter zome (similar to yurt) and greenhouse (two separate structures for sleeping) are low cost. For larger parties, we can put up tents. Therefore, if you want to sleep more than four, ask about options.
- Quiet hours 10pm to 7am.
- Breakfast, tea or coffee optional and negotiable
- Bring your own sleeping bag to save more
Who ever I am, I am my self, uniquely. I am a semi retired earth and hu-man be-ing lover, who gardens, builds, sings, prays, and heals my self, in harmony with my home and nature, as best I can do, with a little inspiration, and help from my friends. Currently, I am a single, divorced, heterosexual beginning elder years as a wild, green, man wisdom keeper. I stand in my power and beauty, in union and balance with self and others, imperfectly. I seek deeply to live spiritually, with heart. I feel emotions daily - anger, fear, joy, gratitude, sorrow, despair, hope, and peace ever changing. I live my talk as best I can hu-man-ly do, with compassion and love for my self, and others.
I value: Do unto others as I would have done. Love one another. Even so, healthy, wholesome boundaries and self care sustain my life. Therefore, I take care of my self, and don't give much more than I receive in a relationship. This is wisdom in action with compassion.
My home is a respite, a refuge, a sanctuary filled with art, and beauty, as is my yard.
I am a semi retired holistic, natural healer. So if you want to talk health, pick my brain. Ask and ye shall receive. What I ask primarily in exchange for sharing my home, and heart, is respect for my self, my privacy, and my property.
I invite you to be you, and enjoy your self. Please don't expect me to be some one I am not in a vain effort to please you, and fulfill your fantasy.
Let us meet, and part, respectfully, with dignity and freedom. I welcome your presence, and bless you with mine.
