We had an absolutely amazing stay and Miljenko and Lily's wonderful house. It is difficult to describe how amazing our stay was. The house is just perfect and has all the amenities one may need. It is extremely well equipped and the hosts have thought of every detail. The terrace is more than stunning. We spent most of our time outside and used the grill and outside kitchen. The terrace has the feel of what it must have been like during the Roman Empire - just breathtaking! The beach is just a short walk down a set of steps. There are also a couple of sand beaches a close walk away. There are 2 supermarkets relatively near. Every morning local fishermen sell fish - also a short walk away. The neighbors are also great and friendly. Lumbarda is a quiet and amazing little village and the locals are super friendly. Miljenko and Lily were perfect hosts always thinking a step ahead and making sure we have everything we need. We were picked up at the dock where our boat arrived and driven to the boat at the end of our stay. We travel a lot and have been to many many places all over the world, but it is difficult to find such an amazing place as the island of Korcula and Miljenko and Lily's house. We definitely want to come back to Lumbarda and we hope that Miljenko and Lily will have us as their guests again.

Miljenko was very helpful and arranged for us to be collected (and returned) to the ferry port by the very nice Mr Slaven. The cheese, ham, fruit, milk (and beer) that was left for us was very appreciated. Villa did not disappoint, very clean, incredible view - its in a great location - close to village centre and beaches - but still nice and quiet. Lumbarda is a lovely village , lots of nice restaurants , I would highly recommend walking the extra 10 min to Przina beach - beautiful bay, lovely water, lovely people at the snack bar and a great cocktail bar

A very beautiful and comfortable house with a stunning view. The house itself has been thoughtfully designed and decorated. The stone walls, bleached wood and furnishings create a very stylish interior. There is loads of storage space in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable. The indoor kitchen is a bit more rustic but absolutely fine for the needs of a villa holiday in a hot climate. It's the exterior of this house that simply delights. The pool, terraces, exterior funrniture and outdoor kitchen are all fantastic. We spent most of our time enjoying the views across the bay of Lumbarda, either dipping in the pool, preparing meals for the grill and or dining as a family. The village of Lumbarda is also delightful with a very friendly atmosphere. There are a couple of excellent restaurants an easy walk away as well a few great beaches. We walked to the end of the headland for good snorkelling, swam and paddle boarded to the nearby small islands, plus spend an hour on the inflatables at the nearby beach bar. We would highly recommend Lily and Miljenko's house, they are also brilliant hosts, very thoughtful and helpful.

Everything was perfect. Our arrival was perfectly organised. We felt immediatly welcome in the lovely house. The position of the house is stunning. It takes 5 minutes to walk down to the sea. We went windsurfing (about 10min walk) and spend a lot of time snorkelling in the clear blue sea. The outside space of the house is impressing, you get a wonderful view over the bay. We are really missing the clean and huge pool . The bar-b-que area with its fridge and its comfortable sofas is lovely. We cooked outside and spend most of the time outside. The house itself is tastefully furnished. The owners Lilly and Miljenko had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We found every detail, f.e. clothespins, scissors, ... The owners are perfect hosts, very charming and organised in everything. Lumbarda is a cute little town with a lot of nice little local restaurants. Korcula is a very green and lovely island. We had been there before and for sure we will come back.

We were two families traveling together, with 4 children (2, 3 and two 5 year olds). We arrived very late in the night (due to a delayed flight) and were graciously welcomed by Miljenko and Lilly with delicious local wine. They had bought us staples and even breakfast the first day, so that we did not need to hurry to the local supermarket (approximately 10 minutes walking). We were charmed as soon as we got to the house, it is located in an old part of town with pitoresque stairs and walkways to the beach and the main road. The view is amazing, with nothing blocking the view of the ocean and islands. The pool is very nice, the water was perfectly clean at all times and the temperature fine - depending on time of day and the temperature in the air. The outdoor shower is very pleasant with both cold and warm water. We spent our evenings outside, and the night sky was amazing. To take a late night shower with that view and all the stars above was an experience we will remember. The house was perfectly clean when we arrived. The three bedrooms and the two bathrooms were newly refurbished, and everything there was new and nicely decorated. The kitchen is somewhat older, but functional. The stove has 4 hotplates, but no oven. The kitchen table / living room area is not very big for a group of 8, but sufficient. Linen and towels were supplied and were perfect. The first section of the stairs has no railing, thus is best for children who can manage stairs without difficulty. Several beautiful beaches and nice restaurants are just minutes walking away, so we managed fine without a rental car even with small children. There is a bus to Korcula approximately once an hour, and taxis are easy to phone and not expensive. We spent our days bathing, building sand castles, eating delicious local fish, home made pasta and ice-cream (the ice-cream shop facing the city beach in Lumbarda is highly recommend, try the strawberry flavour) and trying the locally produced wine. We also explored Korcula and went on a trip of the island. Our stay coincided with an extremely warm period in Lumbarda, with maximum day time temperatures up to 34 - 35 degrees and also very warm nights. There is currently one air-conditioner in the house, it is placed on the top of the stairwell. All three bedroooms have doors to this stairwell. To have air-conditioning in the bedrooms the doors must be open. One air-conditioner was not sufficient to keep us Norwegians completely cold enough at night in this warm period, especially the room with the bunk bed was to warm. However during our first days, with more normal Lumbarda temperatures the air-conditioning seemed to function well, except maybe for the top bunk bed. The hosts were accommodating and helped us as best they could, and said they are considering adding more air-conditioning. All in all...

We were Miljenko and Lilly's first guests - they had thought of everything to make this a lovely holiday - if there were teething problems, they were very quickly resolved e.g. there wasn't a kettle in the house when we arrived and they went out to buy one. The outside space is stunning and exactly as described on the website - the pool is warm and has a beautiful view. The outside shower next to the pool has both hot and cold water and there was nothing nicer than having a shower outside first thing in the morning. The bar-b-que area is lovely - we didn't cook anywhere else - and is well stocked with a fridge etc. At night this area came into its own - we spent hours watching all the big boats come and go, whilst playing cards or watching a movie on our laptop. The inside space downstairs was a little smaller and darker than we were expecting, but this wasn't a problem as we spent all our time outside. The beds were really comfortable and the air con made sleeping easy at night - there was even mosquito netting on the windows which meant that the windows could be left open without the danger of being eaten alive at night! Lilly and Miljenko had thought of everything - they collected us from the catamoran and tooks us back to the house - they had booked us into a local restaurant the first evening (as we arrived quite late) and then the following morning went out and bought us breakfast - they went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable. The position of the house is stunning. It takes 5 minutes to walk down to the sea and we can recommend pier jumping - our kids had a fantastic time jumping off the pier and snorkelling in the clear blue sea. There are a number of local restaurants you can eat at if you don't fancy cooking and lots to do. Lumbarda has lots of local events, such as the fish evening on a Friday night, local folk dancing on a Wednesday and every other Monday Donkey races! However, it is worth noting that most of the restaurants, activities etc. only took cash (rather than cards), but cash was easy to get from the ATM's in the town square or next to the big supermarket. Taxi's were very expensive, but the buses were cheap and efficient. We also went wind surfing, we hired a small boat and went island hopping for the day and the best trip we did was to Mijet, to see the national park. Although expensive (600 kuna each - approx. £80) it was well worth it. We got picked up by taxi, taken to the speed boat which took us to the island, there we walked to the national park where the guide told us the history of the island, we took the ferry to the island of St Mary's...
