Welcome to Little Fish!
We hope that you will treat our home like yours. We stay here whenever we visit RI so we can assure you that it is a clean and kid friendly home. Please use caution and common sense during your stay, we are not liable. This is a family house, not a party house.
You will find 2 keys for the house. We only use 1 key (the lower front door lock). The shed key is located in the Lighthouse key box inside the house near the door. If you get locked out, please call our house manager Teddy at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). You will be charged $50 for his visit. You must return both keys (NOT SHED KEYS) to receive your deposit.
A local map is enclosed. The tourist center is located in the base of the Coast Guard Towers. In a binder on the kitchen breakfast bar you will find lots of information on dining and activities in Narragansett. Please return borrowed materials for future guests. Feel free to ask us for our recommendations!
Here are some rules and info on the house:
Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 11am UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED DURING OFF SEASON.
The housekeeper arrives promptly at 11:15. Please strip the sheets from any bed that was used. We ask that you do us a favor and begin one load of sheets so that the housekeeper has enough time to wash all the linens before the next guests arrive. The washer and dryer is in the basement. All linens have been washed and are ready for you to use if you wish.
We’ve left a limited supply of kitchen goods for your use (sugar, napkins, foil, etc.). We ask that you replace whatever you’ve used. Remove all perishable items from the fridge. Feel free to leave condiments, etc. for future guests.
Garbage cans are located in the wooden bin outside the kitchen door. Garbage is picked up each Wednesday at the bin. RECYCLING PICK UP HAPPENS WEDS AM ONLY IF YOU BRING THE GREEN BIN TO THE CURB ON TUES EVE.
The grass is cut and the spa is serviced weekly (SEASONAL). The fireplace is not operational.
Cover BBQ grill and put the deck umbrella down in bad weather. SEASONAL items located in the shed. We start the summer with 2 filled propane tanks but it is the renter’s responsibility to refill them (exchange at Stop and Shop). Make sure you close the valve on the propane tank as well as the heat on the front panel of the grill when done.
In case of power outage, there is a flashlight in the lighthouse box. The circuit breakers are located in the left hand corner of the basement. Read posted instructions.
To watch the TV: • TV - TV now turns on by using the cable remote. TV then POWER, CABLE then POWER, INPUT till you get to HDMI 2 for TV.
The house is hooked up for wireless Internet. The pass code is taped to the box. Please contact Brandon at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) if you have any trouble logging on. We also have an Ipod dock and Ipod for your convenience.
The hot tub is always running with heated water. Raise the temperature 20 minutes before entering. On the control panels you will find the temperature up & down/light/jets buttons. The jets will go off automatically after a period of time. To adjust the strength there are dials near the entrance step. ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE COVER IS PUT ON THE SPA WHEN IT IS NOT IN USE. ALSO MAKE SURE YOU SHOWER BEFORE ENTERING. Sand and lotion is not good for the spa. BE CAREFUL AROUND THE TUB, USE THE “STEP” WHEN ENTERING AND EXITING, NOT THE PLANKS. NO GLASS PLEASE. The spa is maintained weekly. If for some reason the water is not clean please call Chuck the spa cleaner at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).
In the event of off-season snow fall, please also call chuck (at your own cost).
Be sure to lock all doors when leaving the house. Close all windows and shut AC/heat if on.
Stop and Shop is located on Route 108 just past the rotary. Check out the Dollar Tree first for staples like trash bags, paper goods and cheap toys. O’Neil’s liquor store is located behind the Exxon on 108. Dunkin Donuts is also on 108 and has a drive through.
The Pay Per View ordering feature has been blocked on our TV but you can rent movies at Stop and Shop in the Salt Pond Shopping Center. We’ve left a handful DVDs.
The small closet in the hall is locked with our personal tools and belongings. Please close and lock it if you find it open.

As a parent, I understand that no vacation is truly a vacation. But renting our house will hopefully make it a little easier. From a pack & play to a play kitchen to bedrails and monitors... we've got it. We even have a list of local babysitters that we use ourselves. Our house is all on one floor so there are no stairs to worry about. Our outlets and cabinets are baby proofed and best of all... there are no knick knacks to knock over!
