Burrow Farm is in a secluded peaceful location within Dartmoor National Park. Bedroom and bathroom with access out into the back orchard where you can sit and enjoy the view. Ideal retreat/holiday. Footpath to Drewsteignton, a village with a pub, shop and restaurant and located directly on the Two Moors Way. Walks along the River Teign and high above the gorge can be reached without getting into a car or spend an afternoon reading in front of a log fire in the library. Breakfast is provided.
The bedroom is situated at the end of the house. You can lie in bed and look out over the front garden and towards the Teign Gorge. The bedroom has a desk, armchair and wardrobes. A small room alongside, with books, maps, large mirror and tea making facilities leads to the bathroom. A door leading to the rest of the house provides privacy. Breakfast is served downstairs in the family kitchen. Homemade bread and marmalde, eggs from our chickens and additional locally sourced ingredients.
Although the bedroom and bathroom are upstairs, it also has it's own access through a stable door out into the back orchard. There is a patio which catches the morning and evening sun. Table and chairs are also in the orchard providing a relaxing place to enjoy sunshine all day and just stare at the view. During autumn and winter we also offer the library for the afternoon, where you can relax in front of the log fire, read a book or just enjoy the peace and quite.
