My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers in the Constantia Valley.
Situated in the heart of the Constantia Wine Route, close to the M3 highway . Several shopping centers within a few kilometer radius and a huge selection of restaurants at which to eat
The apartment is attached to the main house but with it's own separate entrance. There is ample 'off street' parking on the brick paved drive in front of the main house.
Entrance to the apartment is into a room with ample wardrobe space. This room doubles as an eating area. On the left is a small kitchen with basic cooking amenities. (kettle, toaster, microwave and single hot plate)
Through a door you enter a spacious bedroom with queen size bed. On the left is a bathroom consisting of shower, wash basin and toilet.
From the bedroom you will move to a small sitting area. Both of these rooms are light and airy with a view of the garden and the mountains in the distance. The TV, with full DSTV channels, can be viewed either from the sitting room or the bed.
The entry door to the apartment is fitted with a safety gate for additional peace of mind.
I respectfully request 'no smoking' inside, however, there is a seat opposite the front door with a pleasant view of the garden where guests may smoke if they wish. This is under cover so no problem with inclement weather.
I have included things that make my life comfortable when I am travelling. Please let me know if there is anything specific that would make your stay more pleasurable.
Whilst I don't provide a full breakfast, as a starter for your stay there is tea, coffee etc rusks or biscuits and a small fruit bowl to get your stay off to a good start
If your travel arrangements make it necessary to check in later than 7 pm, please let us know so that we can make special arrangements for you.
Beach towels are available on request.
Bedding and towels will be changed after 5 days for stays of that duration and longer
Originally from Yorkshire in the North of England but have lived in South Africa since 1972. I came to Cape Town with the intention of working for a year before returning to England. Loved Cape Town from the moment I arrived so have never left.
Met Harry in 1975 and we married the following year. We built our house in the Constantia Valley and still live here because we love it so much.
We love to travel as much as possible and, because one of our sons lives in Dublin we go to Ireland whenever we are able.
I love all types of handcrafts and spend many happy hours at my sewing machine or with needles in my hands. I am trying to become more computer literate so have done a couple of courses. Also attend interesting talks and outings and go to line dancing once a week
