Amazing stay in this beautiful, modern apartment! Very welcoming and responsive hosts. Like others have commented, the apartment is so much nicer than the pictures show. The interior has an open layout that allows for bright ambient light and easy conversations from anywhere in the common areas. The bathroom is tucked away in the far rear for privacy and tranquility when using the large soaking tub or shower. The bedroom is off the main area and is quiet and comfortable. Windows can open throughout to allow for a nice flow of air. Location is about 2 miles from downtown and costs about $8 each way for UBER to center of old city. Free on-street parking directly in front of the apartment was never a problem. There is a restaurant (Deli-Grec) below apartment that makes a delicious, although unique pizza which we enjoyed after our late arrival. There is also a pharmacy / grocer at corner for all household supplies (meds, milk, snacks, etc). Our favorite amenity, however, was the high-end espresso machine in the kitchen, which takes fresh ground coffee and steams your milk. We asked around and found a local roaster/ grinder in Old Quebec called Cantook on 375 rue St Jean that sells and grinds coffees from around the world. We bought 200 grams (~6$) of Kenya that lasted us for our 5 day stay with some xtra for the next guests. We would highly recommend Paillards on rue St Jean for coffee and croissants in the morning as it reminded us of Paris -so good! For lunch and dinner, there are endless 4+ star choices. One in particular that we loved was La Grolla (815 Côte d’Abraham) for Swiss-style fondue. We ordered the two cheese pot using local cheeses from Charlevoix with potatoes, bread, and vegetable mix for dipping. Absolutely amazing! Enjoy your stay!
