28 foot Fifth Wheel, a great place to stay while you explore Cartwright and the new Mealy Mountain National Park. We are located on the South side of Cartwright Harbour where you can sit in a screened gazebo and enjoy the scenery at the Harbour, the amazing sunsets and a place to relax and chat with other guests. Our groups are small so it keeps a friendly atmosphere.
Our space is located on the harbour front. Our guides will go with you on your excursions or we will provide you with maps and town information. Your accommodation space has a comfortable space to just sit and relax, make a pot of coffee or tea, have a sweet snack. Take a journey back in time with our guides, take an all inclusive camping trip, participate in traditional craft, history walk in a beautiful garden, visit "The Big Land Pottery" Studio.
Your space is self contained, stand alone unit. You can visit the Gallery, sit in the screened gazebo to enjoy the day time view and the sunsets, have a beach fire in a fire pit. We have craft learning experiences and kayak in the harbour you can book while you are visiting. The Mealy Mountain Gallery is next door and has a great display of hand crafted art and craft made in Newfoundland and Labrador and there is an artist in residence every day.
Yes, we do have black flies but we advise you to bring a bug jacket to wear as you walk around and our screened gazebo keeps the bugs out.
If you book a sea tour to the Wundarstrand and the old fishing villages there are very few to no flies.
