A dream came true the day we settled on this 300 acre property. Eastern Hill is part of the of the rich lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung tribes. Later our property was the Eastern Hill section of the Smeaton run of Captain Hepburn, the original European settler.
The land is a beautiful combination of grasslands, rocky outcrops and forest, together with a creek and an abundance of wild life.
We grow olives, and run a registered animal rescue. At any time there are over one hundred rescue animals in our care. Our motto is kindness to all living things.
We garden, love books, relaxing in front of an open fire watching a DVD, and enjoy good local organic food and wine.
