We are available to assist you. Feel free to text me any questions, concerns or needs during your stay. If you would like to meet us we are available and happy to say hello. We also respect your privacy should you desire no person to person interaction. There is a recommendation sheet on the desk which is yours to keep. You will also find other information that will provide event schedule, theatre and of course restaurant ideas.
For your temperature comfort we have provided many options for you. You could possibly need heat at night and cool air in the afternoon. You can vary the temperature a lot by opening windows and/or pulling down the block-out shades. A ceiling fan in the bedroom offers movement of air and when windows are opened there is a nice flow of air too. In addition we have provided a portable vertical heat/cool fan that is efficient. Should the temperature become too warm the first thing we recommend that you pull down all the block-out shades. We have also provided a portable cooling unit that does an awesome job should the unit become a bit warm (rare). Please text us for instructions. Should you need more heat than the portable unit please text us and we can turn on the central heat.
Respectful. No smoking or vapor.
Please remove shoes before heading upstairs. No shoes inside the apartment.
Retired...or semi retired. In my 50's I decided I needed a change in work and out of a cubicle. After some soul searching I decided to go to grooming school to become a certified dog groomer. It really is never to late to find your passion. For me it is the best job ever on most days. My husband and I worked and raised our two sons in California even though neither of us were raised in the state of sunshine. When it came time to start thinking about retirement we found our new modern dream home in Bellingham, Washington. We have no regrets leaving San Diego. We love Bellingham except that the 2016-2017 winter has been the state of snow, not rain.
