Large comfortable room with new bed, in the best location right on top of Phinney Ridge. The view, from the house and deck, night or day, is unparalleled. Woodland park and zoo are just across the street. Greenlake is a short walk. Ballard, Fremont, and Phinney Ridge neighborhood bars, restaurants, and shopping are all very close by. Many bus lines to take you downtown (less than a block away), Ballard or the U-district. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
This charming room in a big beautiful Phinney Ridge home is complete with a brand new mattress, large desk/work space, dresser and walk in closet.
Towels, linens, soaps and toiletries are provided. Washer and dryer in dry, heated basement.
The house has wifi, a big open kitchen, dining area, living room and breakfast nook. There is a fenced in backyard with a large deck. The deck has beautiful views.
The entire main floor is open to guests, with the exception of one bedroom. Feel free to use the kitchen; you're welcome to cook. Cleaning supplies are under the sink next to the dishwasher :).
We are social, but respectful. There are often friends and family in the home, laughter and music, but never at odd hours or extraordinary volumes. I love to entertain but also enjoy peace and quiet.
If you don't like friendly, loveable, often ridiculously entertaining dogs, you may want to stay elsewhere as we do have one dog. That being said, unfortunately we are at canine capacity.
- Please respect my home as if it was your own. If this is your first time booking with airbnb, please be sure to put your picture up and let us know something about yourself. Have a full airbnb profile. Please be discreet and do not casually discuss "airbnb" in public or with neighbors - it is a controversial service in Seattle, as it is in most cities, and I'd rather not draw unneeded attention. Thank you so much :)) Common sense prevails - Absolutely no smoking. We greatly enjoy the company of others. If you aren't social, or interested in being social, that's fine too! We expect you to respect our space, clean up after yourself, and lock the doors when you leave. If Franklin the dog takes the time to leave his bed and walk across the room to greet you when you enter, you absolutely must pat him on his head :) .
There is a shared bathroom in the home. It requires being respectful to others. That being said, we have very different schedules, and it is rarely if ever an issue. If you're the type to spend hours in the bathroom, or require a private bathroom, you should look elsewhere.
