I have mixed results staying here with my family. The apartment is beautiful and we really liked the grounds. We were greeted by Sara and her mother Antonia who are very nice people and graciously made sure we were very informed of what all Milan has to offer. Their apartment is modern, spacious, and has 2 bedrooms. There is a large common area with green shrubs and beautiful plants. Even though the train runs by at night we didn’t have a problem with it. It was quiet for us and safe. There is a grocery store directly next to the building where we shopped for ingredients to make dinner and the clerks were very helpful and nice. Across the street is the metro and you can get there in less than 10 minutes walking. There is also a pharmacy that happened to be closed on the Sunday we needed it open to buy medicine (most business are closed Sunday's). Cafe’s and other shops are also around the vicinity. The downside is that during our stay there the temperature was very warm and the apartment does not have air conditioning. We kept all the windows and patio doors open to get some cool breeze relief but that didn’t help because there was no breeze at all. They provided us with 2 fans but were really not helpful since it just blew warm air around. We did not get a good night’s rest each night and without fail the mosquito’s did not hesitate to bite us and in the morning had mosquito bites on all of us. I strongly recommend air conditioning for a 5 star rating.
