This is a nature's retreat for nature lovers, yoga lovers, writers, online freelancers, or those who wish to have an authentic experience with Balinese culture.
Best suited for solo female travelers.
A beautiful, western style, furnished 1 bedroom roomy house overlooking the jungle creek and river ravine. The view is phenomenal!
It's at the back of a Balinese family compound 2.2km north of Ubud palace. Very peaceful, quiet, safe, with lovely local people sharing their culture with you.
Only available to non-smokers.
Preferably females, or males who can keep things neat and tidy.
Completely equipped: Kitchen, refrigerator, sink (hot water too), 2 gas stoves, blender, dishes, pots, pans and utensils...
Bathroom with Western toilet, hot water shower.
Full sized bed, closet, night table, ceiling fan
Open living/dining area with ceiling fan, sofa, coffee table. Great space for dancing and yoga.
Fiber optic wifi. 10Mbps download, 2Mbps upload speed. Extremely fast and reliable.
Parking in front of house.
6 mins ride from central Ubud.
I still keep some of my clothes in a compartment in the closet and a couple of drawers. However there is more than plenty of space for you to put your stuff.
I'll be away for the entire period so you'll have the home to yourself. There are plenty of magazines, guidebooks, and books on the coffee table for you to peruse.
This is the first time I list this on airbnb, but have hosted several people over the years prior to this.
Here's one review from the latest guest: "The house is part of a friendly but peaceful and private family compound, yet only minutes away from Ubud. Her home is well-equipped with all basic necessities and has great views of lush, tropical vegetation. There is fast and very reliable free wifi. There is a small shop and laundry nearby, as well as a small restaurant which is highly recommended. I have already decided to return later this year. Thank you!" – Janice N., Australia
