A rural retreat located a short distance from the Appalachian Highway in Southern Ohio, this log home is loaded with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.
Get away from it all in a quiet farm setting. The house is just a short drive to Amish country, Serpent Mound and other family-friendly activities. Take a walk on the property or relax on one of the porches and you might see deer, turkey and other wildlife. Good for couples, solo adventurers and families (with kids and/or pets).
The log home, built in 2003, is a single-story structure with an all-wood interior. It's located in a very quiet area -- a great place to get away from the city (or the suburbs).
There is no cable TV or internet. (Verizon, T-Mobile and probably other cellular services work here, though, and there's a TV with a Roku if you want to use your phone as a hotspot and stream video.)
The house is wheelchair-friendly (ask if you have particular needs).
You'll have the house all to yourself. The basement and one bedroom are off-limits, as personal items are stored there.
You can reach me by email, text or phone if you have questions. It is possible that I or one of my relatives will greet you, or we might give you the code to the electronic locks and security system. This depends on arrival time, your needs, etc. Otherwise, you will have the house all to yourself.
There's a security system.
The house is located in a quiet country location. The neighbors aren't too close, but noise travels. Please be courteous.
