Big, bright private room with a terrace is located in natural, peaceful area, overlooking a bay with a beach. Except two nature loving neighbors (one a yoga teacher, the other cares about the stray dogs), there is just a view over the sea and the olive groves. The main road with a bus station is a half km away; 3 km away is all infrastructure. Daily trips in the nature, the south coast and domestic food in local tavernas are reachable within a half hour drive. Welcome to feel like a local!
The big private room (27 m2) has a double bed, a wardrobe, a desk, a dinner table, a small fitness corner (a static bicycle, exercise ball, yoga instructions), an ironing board with an iron, a fan and a double door with a mosquito net, to your part of a terrace with a table and two chairs and a sea view.
There are no stairs, nor to reach the room, neither inside or outside of the apartment.

The entrance of the apartment leads to the roomy hall. On the left side is a kitchen, on the right side is a private living room. Further on are 2 bedrooms - one of them is your private room, facing a shared bathroom.

Please do note: except me your hosts will be my small dog (her name is Sissi and she is a half Jack Russel bread) and my partner.
You can reach apartment by bus (station is a half km away, at the main road) or by a car: from Herakelion direction to Agios Nikolaos (70 km) - from there 10 km east (direction to Sitia, Ierapetra).
Nearby (3 km) is also a smaller locality, named Istron, with all the infrastructure: bakery, shops, tavernas, bars, Greek fast food with a delivery, pharmacy, hair dresser, bus station(s) to all the island's directions, petrol station and even ATM. The capital of the East Crete / Lasithi region, Agios Nikolaos, is just 10 km away.
There are 4 beaches reachable (one of them the popular Voulisma beach) within 15 to 40 minutes walk or 10 to 15 minutes drive.
EXTRA BONUS: As I am a professional tourist guide you will get lots of information and directions which places to visit, including hidden / not touristic ones, where to go and spend nice time at, which tavernas to choose and enjoy your home made meal / dinner, etc.
You can always ask a question, but as I respect privacy, the same I expect from the others.
Optional you can order breakfast and / or a dinner, made from local ingredients.
Except me, your hosts will be my partner and my small dog (her name is Sissi and she is a half Jack Russel bread) - but do not worry, she is staying with us and while we are at work, she has her / our place to stay in.
Just please note: as dogs language is barking, consider if you can stand to hear barking from time to time.
Optional you can order breakfast and / or a dinner, made of domestic, mainly organic ingredients (as my partner runs his Eco park nearby, which you are welcome to visit, too).

My name is Elena. I was born in Slovenia, but my (first) home is Crete. As a tourist guide I am passionate to show to my guests natural, mythological and ethnological places of this amazing island. My main joys are yoga, swimming, walking in the nature with my dog, tennis, decoration, reading books, theatre, spending time with friends, tasting domestic food made from the local ingredients (mainly prepared by my partner), traveling and meeting new people. My motto is: quality, not quantity. Welcome!
