Spacious Holladay 1,300 sq. ft. 2 bedroom 1 bath Walk out Basement apartment. Located in the heart of Holiday. Just minutes to ski Resorts, hiking and bike trails. Perfect for upto 6 guests. Location is very walkable, a short walk to the new Holladay town center offers great dinning options including the unique Soho dinning park. There is Starbucks & Subway down the street as well as a Sprouts grocery store, liquor store, and newly remodeled Larry H Miller movie theater just around the corner.
Our home is a 1920’s remodeled 3 story custom craftsmen’s home, with 1,300 sq. ft. on each floor (3 floors total). The guest apartment is a private apartment, clean & spacious with lots of light, located on the lower level of our home. It is a basement apartment, which has a separate entrance on the east side of our main level living floor. There are two queen guest bedrooms, living space, laundry and a Mini Kitchen. Newly remodeled bathroom, and cozy living area with a 55" Flat screen TV, DVD, basic cable, and Netflix. Walk-out basement takes you to your own patio and separate entrance. Private, off street parking in front, allows for easy access via a gated back yard and entrance. An excellent place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. The carpet is also brand new, so we kindly ask shoes to be removed.
The kitchen has a full sized refrigerator/freezer, wine frig, coffee maker (with coffee), microwave, plug in skillet and burner, toaster oven/toaster, sink, table that seats 8, and is stocked with dishes, cookware, and basic cooking essentials (oil, salt, pepper, sugar, etc.). Should you require something, just ask as we likely have it upstairs. There is not a dishwasher and guests are expected to keep dishes clean, put away, and kitchen tidy. Dish soap, dry rack, cleaning supplies, as well as laundry detergent are also included.
The bedrooms each have a have queen bed, dresser, night stand and lamps. One bedroom also has a closet with storage space, games and puzzles. The second room has a full-size couch.
The bathroom has just been remodeled, it includes a shower, pedestal vanity, fresh towels, blow dryer, iron/board, soap and shampoo are provided.
The living room has a large couch, oversized chair, ottoman, 55” flat screen TV, DVD player (including plenty of movies you are welcome to use) and a gear landing for you to hang your coats, store skis or boots.
We live upstairs with our 2 young boys (5 and 1) and small Cavachon dog. Our dog is very well socialized and friendly. He does become excited when meeting new people and is very loving once he is introduced however we have provided a smaller dividing fence to ensure he does not have access to the private entrance.
If you are traveling with children, we have a Pac n’ Play & high chair for small children and a queen air mattress for additional guests upon request. We have a multitude of baby/child amenities, so if there is a specific item which would be helpful, just ask, as we likely have it on hand for you to borrow. We have plenty of toys, a fully fenced backyard, tree house, swing set, play area and a kid pool. There is a playground a short walk up the street as well as a newly developed town center which includes restaurants and shopping. There is a public recreation center within walking distance as well, which has a large indoor pool and a very kid friendly play area and three story slide and provides work out amenities and classes.
You will access the house through a private entrance, a code will be uniquely created for you, and provided prior to arrival. Parking is available off the street in front of the house. You will have access to the entire ground level living space. While we live in the upper two stories of the house, we will do our best to ensure your privacy.
We're new to the Air BNB community and are looking forward to sharing our home. We are very happy to help with any recommendations or other information you may need during your stay. We live upstairs and are easily available any time you need, either in person or via cell phone. We do live upstairs with two young boys, so please let us know if the noise is disruptive.
We live in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood.
No parties, NO SMOKING (Utah law requires anyone to smoke 25 feet from any entrance, so smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property at any time), it would be appreciated if shoes were not worn inside.

Dave is a Salt Lake City native who has spent time in Spain and speaks Spanish. He currently works for a local Credit Union. He has been an avid skier and cyclist for many years. Leif is originally from Idaho and has lived in various States throughout the years, most recently she's become a stay at home mom to our two young children, Jack, who is 5 and Liam who is 1. We both attended the University of Utah. This is a new home for us in the Salt Lake City Valley, we recently moved from Millcreek and have been loving our new location. Hoping to share our home with guest, seeing as we really haven't been utilizing our third floor. Keeper is our little dog, with a big sense of personality. While he may bark upon your arrival, he is well trained and very loving; once he knows you are welcome friends, he will be quite charming. We also live in Salt Lake for the great cultural access to live music & the arts and are happy to help connect you to the nightlife here as well.
