The very popular River Club is a secure complex, situated on the Piesang river. It is a 7 minute walk to the famous Central and Robberg beaches and a 5 minute walk to a centre that includes supermarket, liquor store, pharmacy, two restaurants and 'takeaways'. The guarded complex offers river frontage with great fishing facilities from a boardwalk; swimming pool and tennis courts. Geranium cottage is set in a secluded, private garden and our guest wing has two separate private entrances.
Geranium offers a very cosy space in a lovely secluded garden, comprising two bedrooms, each with doors opening into the garden. Bath and shower and a well stocked little bookshelf. TV, microwave, bar fridge and tea/coffee station. Comprehensive details of restaurants, take ways and activities, all within walking distance, are available in the rooms. The space is available to one to four guests, at no extra cost.
There is a very comprehensive file available to guests in the apartment, which lists all restaurants, activities, places of interest and the hi-lites of Plett. I am also available to discuss and advise.
Spring is around the corner, and Plett is turning green once again. After the devastating fires, the regrowth is gorgeous as the "fynbos" comes back to life with a vengeance. The recent magnificent rains have been a blessing, and our beautiful Tsitsikamma forests remain untouched.
The whales are all here and visitors have had wonderful sightings of birthing, mating and breaching , so of course our beach front restaurants are pumping.
I am always available for guests' needs, advice or conversation.
The Southern Right and other breeds of whales, are a very important part of the "Plett experience". These magnificent creatures come into our bay to mate and give birth, from July through October. Whale sightings can leave folk speechless, and we have many whale watching excursions available to guests, in boats leaving from Central beach. Of course, we always have our seals and dolphins, AND a few sharks in this eco friendly bay, which constantly entertain.

Hi all!. I am anni g. I retired to live in the paradise of Plettenberg Bay, after my husband became ill, many, many years ago. He subsequently passed away, but as much as I adore my MANY children AND grandchildren that are spread out all over the world, my passion for Plett trumps everything. This is my home, which I now look forward to sharing with all of you. I have traveled pretty extensively, but cannot recall a single spot that has more to offer than Plettenberg Bay with its incredible diversity of sea, sand, forest, flora and fauna; a global gem, indeed. I am passionate about my home and look forward to sharing it with you.
