It's close to Hopfields Brewery, Black's BBQ, Via 313 Pizza, Wheatsville Food Co-op, authentic Mexican food, and only a mile from the UT Campus. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the high ceilings, natural lighting, the location, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
The space is an all original duplex (half of a house) that was built in 1935. Everything in the home is all original from the door knobs to the wood detailing, but it has been weatherized to make it more energy efficient. The front room is open and airy (it is the size of a small studio), and connects to a second room which is also attached to the bathroom. I love options and I also love quality and high end products--the bathroom and shower are fully stocked with everything you will need, so you can skip packing toiletries. There are a bunch of fresh linens, towels, and extra blankets for comfort. The kitchen is a good amount of space and completely stocked with everything you would possibly need. There is a meditation station bench outside in the back yard and also a small grill that you are welcome to use.
Living room, guest room, bathroom, kitchen, back yard, and pretty much everything in between.
I won't be staying at the house while you are there, but feel free to text or email me with any questions whatsoever. I will be prompt in answering you back, and I am also more than happy to make recommendations of the vast array of options of things to do in a one mile radius of the house.
Austin, TX is the music capital of the world!! I recommend Texas because of the chill and laid back atmosphere, the million things to do, the natural beauty, the TEX MEX food, BBQ, hospitable and friendly folks, and live music every night.

I have traveled all over the country and stayed in Airbnb rentals. My place has a little bit of everything that I like from everywhere that I have stayed.
I am a lover of the California desert on the West Coast and the spacious and friendly atmosphere of the South...mainly the music and beauty and openness of Austin.
I am an artist, tinkerer, collector, writer, maker of things, reader, designer a former boutique and business owner, a meditator, and a nature lover.
I love traveling, the desert, the sea, the very long roads in-between, and the skies that change every few hundred miles.
I love margaritas, Thai food, Texas BBQ (brisket sandwiches), and hearty breakfast tacos. I love salads..usually organic.
