Bonney Berg is a boutique vineyard bed & breakfast located on the border of the Adelaide Hills & Barossa Valley wine regions. All three rooms have been individually designed with quality fittings - each has its own unique personality. A delicious homemade breakfast is included, served in the shared dining room. Seasonal gourmet dishes prepared in Bonney Berg's own kitchen served with local wines, are available in the evenings. Tea, coffee, fruit & gourmet cheese platters are available all day.
Duckworth is one of our three rooms. The other rooms, Davenport and Fornasetti, are listed separately.
Bonney Berg is ideally located on the border of the Barossa and Adelaide Hills wine regions and within a stone's throw of Mt Crawford Forest and Cromer Conservation Park. We are five minutes drive from the famous National Motor Museum in Birdwood. Award winning cellar doors are only 10 minutes drive away and the city centre is a picturesque hour's drive. (In fact, the Adelaide Hills is closer to a capital city than any other wine region in the world!)
Bonney Berg is set amongst century-old red gums, abundant bird life, the meandering Hannaford Creek and two dams which support fish and bird life. Guests can enjoy wine and cheese platters in their room, in the sunny garden or in the shared sitting room.
Each of the three guest rooms has a queen sized bed, luxury linen, brand new bathroom fixtures and fittings, heating and cooling, television and opening windows to enjoy the country breezes in summer.
Bonney Berg is a ideal destination for a romantic weekend escape, to connect with nature, fine foods and wines and enjoy everything that country life has to offer.
Guests can wander in the garden or the vineyard, swim in the pool or relax in a comfortable chair in the sunshine. In cooler weather, the shared sitting room has couches and chairs, books and games.
We live on site, so we'll greet you on arrival, make sure you're settled in and then leave you to enjoy Bonney Berg until we serve you breakfast - or a cheese platter or dinner, depending on your requirements. We can help you decide which route to take if you want to explore the many food and wine trails, local breweries, or if you want to know which driving, walking or cycling routes will take you through picturesque towns, nature reserves and other local attractions and events.
