Welcome to the cosy cabin set in my lovely garden in a no through lane, in the Somerset countryside. Enjoy views of the garden, fields, birds and farm animals. Wedmore village with 3 pubs, restaurants and shops is 1.5 miles away. Cheddar Gorge/Mendip Hills are a short drive, Wells and Glastonbury too.
Somerset is a great county to explore with its hills and levels, historic sites, nature reserves and coastline. There are several good local cider makers so you can enjoy the taste of Somerset.
The cabin is an "upcycled" office cabin which has been converted to become a comfortable accomodation space. It is self contained, insulated and heated with kitchen area - no hob/oven but does have a microwave, large George Foreman grill, toaster, kettle and fridge with freezer compartment to make quick easy meals. Well equipped with crockery etc. Fire blanket and first aid kit. New comfortable double sofa bed. Folding bistro table and two chairs set. TV/DVD, radio/CD, wi-fi. Shower room with powerful shower, WC, basin, shaver point and heated towel rail. Garden bench. Under cover area by entrance door. Dry boot storage box outside.
Starter supplies of tea, coffee, sugar and jug of milk upon arrival. All bed linen, towels and teatowels supplied.
The whole cabin is available to you along with the garden which has a bench to relax on. You can also take the folding bistro dining set into the garden.
A good dark sky for star gazing on a clear night. (Just let me know if you plan to use a telescope so I can turn off any outside lights)
I will try to assist you with any queries so please ask me. I want you to enjoy your stay and come again.
I have put several local walks, which I've laminated, into The Cabin which you can borrow and take with you for directions if you enjoy walking.
Access is via gravel paths with two steps into The Cabin.
Parking is a few metres from The Cabin.
Please see Safety, Information and Emergency contacts in a folder in The Cabin.
I have a friendly dog who will want to say hello - he will not jump up and will listen to commands.
My cat may also say hello but he can be a little shy!
Please don't allow them into the cabin.
No smoking in the cabin.
The cabin is a no outdoor shoes zone so please bring slippers for your comfort - we are in the countryside along with dogs in the lane and our own dog so would much appreciate you following this rule.
The cabin sleeps a maximum of two adults so no additional guests - however we have decided children may stay with an adult but there is only a double sofa bed and limited floor space when it is out, therefore please enquire first if planning to come as a family.
Gates to remain closed please as my friendly dog may decide to go for a wander or farm animals/deer etc may decide to pop in!
No loud music or parties thanks.

I moved to Somerset from Surrey 12 years ago and love it here! The county has so much to offer me as I enjoy walking in the countryside and along the coast. I volunteer with the Somerset Wildlife Trust as a Watch Group Leader - bringing families together to enjoy the countryside and wildlife. I help with a local Scout group too. I do enjoy travelling and sight seeing and have booked some great places to stay via airbnb.
