Relax in a spacious custom-built house at the foot of Kelowna's Knox Mountain, gateway to the city's biggest natural park. Enjoy the original decor of Knox Cottage, a whirl of colours on a unique canvas, just a block from Okanagan Lake.
Make use of our prime location right downtown as your home base for taking in all the Okanagan Valley has to offer. Your biggest challenge might be deciding what to do first.
Original architecture and a flair for design come together in this roomy 1,000 sqare foot house built in 2006.
With vaulted ceilings throughout and a colourful collection of art on the walls, it would be easy to stay inside Knox Cottage for your entire trip. We don't think you should though, because there's so much to see and do outside.
Ideal for two couples or a family with kids, Knox Cottage gives value and amenities a hotel cannot match, including a full-sized kitchen, living room and a master bedroom with ensuite plus a second bedroom, both with queen size beds. There is an additional double sofa bed in the living room.
Outside Knox Cottage, guests will have use of a front-yard patio with a table and four chairs.
I live next door and will normally be available during regular hours (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.) for text questions and phone calls, however my partner and I can frequently be found enjoying coffee on the front patio watching the sun rise over the Knox Mountain cliffs or watching it set over Okanagan Lake.
Feel free to join us if you see us sitting there.
Of course, nothing is perfect. There is a light industrial district within one kilometre. Sometimes noise can be heard in the evenings through open windows. There is also a distinct possibility that Knox Mountain Park will be closed to car traffic during the summer months due to fire hazard. The park is always open to hiking and biking even at the height of summer.
Use of outside space is not permitted past 9 p.m.
