Although we set our rules, some guests don't even bother to follow or just forgot the rules and instructions that we made.
I even noticed that most of my guests forgot to turned off the aircon/heater, switched off the lights, pulled off all the electronic gadgets that are not in use that cost us paying on high electric bills.
So please allow me to come and check them by myself. (will give you a message before coming in)
Thank you and your cooperation is highly appreciated.
We have also our print outs inside the apartment regarding the rules, please have time to read:.
1.) Please, all rubbish will be segregated, separate the plastic bottles (pet bottles as we call it here in Japan), cans and breakable bottles or jars, remove all the caps and labels and if possible wash those dirty cans and bottles before throwing into a designated bins.
Left over foods, waste, dirty plastic packs and wrappers, papers on the same bins. (Diapers and napkins should be put in a separate plastic bags)
Paper bags, hard boxes like: shoe boxes, gift boxes, toy and electrical gadgets boxes will be separated. Disassemble all the boxes and put them in one paper bag.
All bedrooms have one plastic bins each for your rubbish, but please separate the recycled items and put it on a designated bins placed at the kitchen.
Monday and Thursday is rubbish collection day, garbage collectors will come as early as 9 a.m., so please get ready with your rubbish, bring out the rubbish from your bedrooms the night before and put them at the kitchen as I will collect them early in the morning to dispose it.
Recycle items will be collected every Saturday.
These rules are very important to us living here in Japan, so please follow.
NOTE: Do not leave your old and empty suit cases for us to throw it. The city garbage collectors need a payment to dispose them. If there will be a situation like this, like our previous guest did, we will have to ask you a payment or ask airbnb to collect the payment from the person who booked the accommodation.
2.) Please no parties in the house, avoid talking too loud as we can destruct the neighborhood.
Be sure to talk in a low voice between 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM as the neighbors are starting to rest. RESPECT each other!
3.) Please remove your shoes before entering the room, put it on the shoe rack and use slippers that we have provided for you.
4.) No smoking inside the rooms please. If someone is smoking, use our balcony, we have table and chair and use the balcony slippers that we provided as well as the ashtray. Cigarette butts and ashes will have to be separated, put water on it before throwing on a separate plastic bag.
5.) Please use the kitchen wares and utensils carefully, wash them after every use.
6.) Please turn off all the lights inside your rooms, off the AC/heater, pull off all the plugs of all your electronic gadgets, the water kettle, and the toaster to avoid the short circuit, and be sure to close all the faucet tightly after use to avoid the leaks and turn off the lights at the bathroom and toilet after use as well. Turn off the gas stove as well.
7.) Do not put and leave the chair at the main entrance door that will block the door when you open it.
Double check if you lock the door before you leave the premises.
I will appreciate very much if you will maintain the cleanliness of the apartment.
WELCOME TO TOKYO AND ENJOY YOUR STAY!!!
A resident in Japan for almost 3 decades now, have traveled up north more than hundred times. I love Hokkaidou one of the best place I have been and traveled every year for more than 10 consecutive years. I love the countryside, the seaside and the lowlands that also attract me the part of the Honshu area with the likes of Aomori, Akita, Iwate, Miyagi, Yamagata, Niigata, Fukushima and also to mention Tochigi, Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa, Yamanashi, Shizuoka, Osaka, Kyoto. I'm still wanting to travel the part of Okinawa, the Chugoku area and Kyushu area. Love those places.
When I was still young, I love the outdoor, which brings me to different places because I love driving a car, but when I'm getting older, I prefer to stay at home which made me focus to cooking.
I love cooking and I cook a lot which is my passion next to driving, I bake cakes and pastries during my free time. I love to try new recipes, buying them, taste them and the next thing to do is bake them by myself.
I baked all the cakes, cookies, breads that I offered to my guests. I'm just happy that they appreciate them.
