George Sage, a retired Naval Officer, has called St.Augustine home for the past 7 years. Before retiring, he lived around the world for 20 years on active duty in the Navy (especially loving Portugal on tour in the Azores), then settled in Leesburg and Yorktown Virginia with his wife, Kathryn while their three children went to college and began their own adult careers. During this time, George became a Real Estate Broker, and with his wife, operated "The Yorktowne Shoppe" selling antiques and memorabilia. While in Virginia, they were active at Grace Church and Church of the Centurion. George and Kathryn have lived on Lake Maria Sanchez since moving to St.Augustine. Their home is located in the heart of the historic city (founded in 1565). Their home, "Saudade" (a wonderful Portuguese word you'll read about on our pages), is within walking distance to everything you can imagine - sshopping on St.George Street, restaurants, museums, parks, Flagler college, and the theatre. St.Cyprian's Church is their home church now. It welcomes everyone, feel free to join in the Sunday services. George loves to give recommendations, "Sage advice", tours and tell you about his favorite city!
