Thanks Rome and Manuela for warm moments and memories. Host met us near house and told some basic information, gave some advices, checked rules of apartment. She speaks English free. We had some food for breakfast us it was shown in description to apartments, anyway this district FULL of tasty trattorias, restaurants and supermarkets that isn't for tourists so you can taste a real Italian food on a smart price. If you want to go anywhere in Rome it must be 30-90 minutes by public transport to main monuments, churches, museums. Apartments was clean and cozy but not "new", there was some music instruments, wifi was pretty good. Conditioner works good, you can ON it, and don't worry about illness, it maintains on last floor and "cool" apartments fast. Perfectly for couples and long staying. You will not regret!
Manuelas apartment was very nice and clean. The room was big and spacious and the living space was very cool. We asked many questions during our time in Rome and she responded very quickly, we could not fault her as a host. The only negative aspect of our time in the apartment was that our room was quite humid at times because of the heat, which was the reason for the 4 star. Never the less our stay was great, we basically had the apartment to ourselves. Lastly, the travel to Rome city centre was easy as it was only a 10 minute bus ride the Termini. We would visit again.
The location was wonderful but also sometimes annoying. It was outside of the city center and therefore far from the overcrowded, overpriced touristy parts of Rome. However, we really loved the neighborhood. Lots of good restaurants and bars and the creative people you would expect in a capitol city. The food was also amazing and cheap! Manuela had great recommendations. However, if you only want to see the main sights it does take a while to get there. Rome transit is an interesting experience at best and public transit back from downtown late at night was rough. Definitely would recommend a taxi if you are in a hurry or tired (we didn't ever take one because we are stubborn). Great neighborhood and wonderful host aside though, the room itself was extremely humid and musty. It was in the basement, which meant it was much cooler than anywhere else, which was nice. But the sheets were damp the entire time we stayed there and it definitely smelled a bit moldy. I'd still recommend it depending on what you are looking for in your trip, but not if dampness bothers you.
