Aya and her husband are very nice host. Her kids are superb active and cute I love them :) very welcoming family. This is a good experience to know how life's of Palestines people live in their country. Their house is big, Aya keep it very clean, room has lots of space good for 2 guests. Thank you for sharing traditional Palestine food with me, it was lovely. Their house located within a walking distance at Refugee Camp to the Main Street which has lots of shops and supermarkets. Place is not at city centre of Bethlehem but get a bus and shared taxi is easy. Aya's husband gave very clear direction. Let me know if someday you visit Hong Kong :)
Aya and her kinds are very kind and polite people. However we didn't feel comfortable during our stay. First of all the address of the accommodation is wrong. Actually it is three kilometers outside of the city which means you either have to take a taxi or walk like half an hour to reach the city. Second the description of the accommodation implies that you can use the kitchen. When we wanted to start cooking the other day, Ayas husband told us in a very unfriendly way that we are not allowed to use the kitchen. This is not what we think is the idea of Airbnb. If you don't mind this, the room overall was quite nice and clean.
Aya and Ibrahim are awesome. We spent one night at their place and had a great time. They are excellent hosts and their children are adorable. Aya cooked us a delicious meal and her house is clean and comfortable. Ibrahim made arrangements for us to go into Hebron and he took us to the wall. We highly recommend staying with them. You will not regret it!
It's a lifetime experience for me and for mum. Since my holidays are based on learning more about lifestyles, cultures, cuisines, history, arts, architectures and also socio-political environment of the country. I choose the destinations with this motive. Aya and Ibrahim were not only the host but also a second family to me and to my mum during our 4 nights stay. Their children were my friends and we played, danced, had great moments together. The traditional food they prepared 2 times for us was incredibly delicious and Ibrahim guidance, the information he gave to us constantly were worth appreciating. I can't say that it's been an easy destination and it provided us everything we expected from an Airbnb house but on the other hand they saw us a part of their family and of course we could ask for what we wanted directly in stead of expecting. It's a little bit far from Jerusalem and you need to figure out everything before you make a plan. Ibrahim and Aya are really more than helpful when you need information as making your schedule during your holiday. Shortly it's the best chosen place if you really want to have a real experience how it's like to stay in 5th populated camp of the other 19 UN camps in Palestinian territory. If you are willing to understand and if you are a real traveller (open to new experiences) what's going on there don't think twice and go stay with Aya&Ibrahim's apartment. Pinar
Great place to stay! The family Is very kind and the kids are adorable. The neighbourhood is very friendly, I recommend walking around the compound at sunset to hear the call to prayer and the see all the kids running around enjoying the cool air. I recommend leaving a tip/ extra $$ especially if you eat with the family (very generous) and they show your around. Thanks!!
