Our outpost sits at the foot of Whitetop Mountain on the waters of Little Laurel, ten miles outside of Damascus, VA. Within about a one mile hike or drive you can find these national jewels: The Appalachian Trail, Beartree National Recreation Area, or The Virginia Creeper Trail. Entry to Grayson Highlands State Park is an easy drive or a challenging hike. Our place offers the ideal launching point for outward adventures of the body, but also for inward journeys of the mind.
Simple and open interior space with a large studio for work, exercise, and play. Come to our rustic outpost to focus your mind and body. There is no TV, no wifi, no phone service, and no cell service in our remote location.

I love running, hiking, and enjoying the mountains where we live in Southwest Virginia. My husband, Eric, and I moved to SW VA from KY in 2005. Since then, we have raised our 3 kids here and have explored countless trails and enjoyed many mountain adventures. My husband is an endurance runner and cyclist. We look forward to answering any questions you have about recreational opportunities in the area. We'd love to make sure your stay the kind of adventure you are looking for.
