Welcome to West Seattle! There are Rapid Ride bus stops and bars nearby, and right up the hill you'll find plenty of locally owned restaurants and shops at the Alaska Way junction. By car, Alki Beach is 5 minutes away, downtown is 10-15 minutes away, and SeaTac airport is 20 minutes away. You'll have a private bedroom and fully-stocked bathroom with a large tub on the second floor. Guests are welcome to hang out anywhere on the 1st and 2nd floor. There is plenty of free street parking.
We share our home with our dog, Bowser, who loves everything and everybody he meets.
Please feel free to relax in our living room in front of the floor to ceiling windows, in the dining area, and in the media room. These are all shared spaces. You will have access to the kitchen for light cooking and a shelf in the refrigerator. Although we love it when our house is filled with music, we do ask that guests refrain from playing the instruments when we're gone and that drinks are kept in the dining area. If you book with us and know how to play our instruments, we would love to play and share some music with you!
During the week we are generally at work from Monday to Friday, and our weekends tend to take us away from home. You might see us come and go on the weekends. Don't hesitate to reach out to us if you need recommendations for nightlife, city parks, outdoor activities in the greater Seattle area, or anything else!
Street parking is free in our neighborhood. During the day there is plenty of parking but it can get crowded in the evenings. You may have to park on the next block or around the corner if you're looking for a spot after 6pm.
No drinks around instruments
Playing instruments not allowed when hosts are not present
Hi I'm Fiona! I'm a young working professional and UW alumni from the greater Seattle area. I live in West Seattle with my other half, Seth, and our impossibly friendly dog, Bowser. When we're not working, you can usually find us hiking, snowboarding, making music, cooking, exploring the city, or on the water. We've had great experiences with airbnb both travelling and hosting and we hope you do too!
