This place is a hidden gem!
I am going to write a longer review, risking that everyone discovers how great this is, just knowing that the description provided by Lovro is not too long. So bear with me ;)
We had some issues with other hosts in the area, so this was our last minute booking. We were so exhausted that we just wanted to have a safe place to crash. That said, when we arrived, I couldnt believe how lucky we were!
We were greeted by Lovros sister, who lived downstairs and was taking care of us the whole time. She gave us tips, told us where to go, what to visit, what to see and was always there when we needed help.
The location of the space is already really amazing: right on the beach (you only cross the road and are right on the beach, absolutely ideal for water sports and a brach vacation). We had paddle boards and literally carried them down 10meters in bathing suits and we were at the water.
The "center" of Mastrinka with a large supermarket, a couple of restaurants and a beach bar is about 5min walk.
The apartment itself is very nice, clean, with two separate rooms and a separate kitchen, where you have everything you need, from kitchen utensils to three different coffee makers.
One room has a double bed, the other two separate beds, and a TV, plus access to the terrace. So its ideal for s family or for 4 friends who dont mind that you will be crossing one of their rooms to the terrace.
The terrace is large, with a view to the sea and to the town. Its has a table and chairs and an umbrella, so you can literally live on it, from morning to evening, if you are not on the beach.
The house is very safe, Lovros family lives and rents out the apartments of the large villa. Everyone is incredibely nice and helpful.
The place is located in Mastrinka, about 3km from the center of Trogir and about 6km from Slatine. The best way to get to Trogir is either by bus (goes almost from the front of the house) or boat (200m from the house) or scooter, which you can rent literally at every corner. I wouldnt recommend a car, coz the traffic in Trogir is horrible as there is only one bridge connecting the mainland with the island, always with a traffic jam.
If you want to go to Split go to Slatine and take the boat for about 25kuna. Its the easiest and I would also think the quickest.
All in all, the stay with Lovro was really great and we would like to come back!
