No, we are would not recommend this guest. Not sure what his intentions were but this was not a good experience. We’re pretty accommodating people. However, we do not appreciate being purposefully misled or lied to. When suggestions have been made like “it would be nice to have more hangers”, “ I can’t find the can opener”, and in this instance - “I can’t find the mattress?”- normally it is not a problem thanks to Amazon. However, we received a number of conflicting information from this guest. First they emailed us regarding an uncomfortable bed, but sends a picture of an empty bed, then tells us there is no mattress, then we order a new mattress because the guest said it was “missing”, we get ready to bring it down because it shipped to us instead of the condo, but then the guest says it is there, then on the last night at 9:00 pm the guest says they still want a new bed. By the end, we didn’t know what to believe. Had the guest not tried to mislead us about it being missing and it was truly about the comfort of the bed, this would have been easily resolved with a bed from a local store. Additionally, the guest also knew about the thick 3 inch memory foam mattress topper in the closet and they had multiple other bed options.
