You’ll love my place because of the quiet area and the coziness. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Current River & Jack's Fork are 2 famous rivers close by for kayaking & canoeing. Fishing on Sims Lake, horse back riding if you bring the horse of course . Also a place to put your horse ! ATV trails & hunting when in season. If you like to hike, trails are close .You will love the large fire pit just outside the cabin with wood to fuel a fire!
There is a wood stove in the cabin for winter heating, wood supplied. If your unfamiliar with how a wood stove works, we can help you out. There is also a wall mounted heater in the master bedroom if a wood stove fire is too much heat in the spring & fall(URL HIDDEN)Room enough for parking your horse trailer and a nice pen for the horse to stay . Must bring your own hay . Major arena 4 miles from cabin on highway 60 .
Full access to your cabin and the yard, please be respectable to the animals. On the grounds your provided a picnic table & fire pit for grilling and/or S'mores. In addition there is a trail & access to over 28 acres of woods for seasonal hunting, mushroom hunting, or walks in the woods.
We will be available for the guests in the mornings till noon and in the evenings from 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm. I have a pretty busy schedule.
You never know when the host will put a dozen free range eggs ready for you in your refrigerator.
Fresh shower towels, hand soap & dish soap, dishes, utensils, small appliances, papers towels, toilet paper, coffee & hot chocolate will always be provided for guests
Events are available if they are clean gatherings & no smoking. Must confirm with the host prior to booking.
