We had booked the entire apartment with Marsit but when we arrived it turned out the place was a hostel and we had one room to ourselves, with kitchen, bathroom, and common area to be shared. There was also no air-conditioning. By the time Marsit's colleague had showed us the bedroom, he had left. So we messaged him asking about the situation. He offered to find a replacement for us which was also an Airbnb and, from the online description, had air conditioning and was a flat just for the two of us. So we accepted the offer.
However, when we had moved to the new place it turned out that the air conditioning there was not functional either. (The description was also inadequate in other ways, e.g., there was no internet or kitchen essentials like cutlery.) We messaged Marsit again who messaged the host (we did not have contact details of the host) but they could not help -- they claimed the AC should work with a remote control but this device was nowhere to be found. After a sleepless night (the temperature reached 40°C during the day) and several messages to Marsit that led to no improvement to the situation, we vacated the flat in the evening, and moved to a hotel. Marsit kindly gave us a full refund.
We acknowledge Marsit's help in what was a major inconvenience for us.
