We have recently bought a brand new huge six seater hydrotherapy magnesium heated spa with 100 different massage jets for an amazing all over massage as well in built TV & CD player and pop up waterproof speakers so you can relax to your favourite tunes or watch a movie. Note: Bring along your favourite DVD's and CD's or music on USB's if desired.
You will be staying in a piece of music history. The apartment was designed and built by ARIA Hall of Fame Rock Music Legend Brian Cadd, writer and singer of such hits as "Little Ray of Sunshine" and "Wild Horses" and producer of acts like "Tina Arena" and wrote "Don't you know it's Magic" for John Farnham and many others. This was once his recording studio, called 'Ginger Man Sound'.
We have just freshly renovated this recording studio by removing all the bright soundproofing panels and painting the whole apartment in a fresh white paint and decorating with new Scandinavian inspired furniture.
Guests will have the whole 2 bedroom apartment to yourself, with your own private driveway and entry. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen/dining and bathroom. They will also have unlimited access to our heated 6 person spa and our solar heated pool. The apartment is situated on 1 acre, next to our house and gardens and so guests are welcome to access our gardens, deck with pizza oven. You will have your own private driveway and entrance. If you have young children, you are welcome to use our new amazing large wooden playground with slides, swings, monkey bars, crows nest, cubby and trampoline!
The kitchen has a sink, bar fridge, microwave, electric portable hot-plate, electric banquet frypan and electric grill plate, kettle, toaster and general kitchen utensils. It does NOT have an oven, but our house kitchen is only around 20 steps from your front door and you are welcome to use our oven in there or use our pizza oven or webber BBQ, as well as borrow any of our large range of kitchen gadgets with our permission (including slow cooker, pressure cooker, crepe maker, food processor, blender, stick mixers and mashers, etc).
You will have your own front loader washing machine and clothes airer in your flat also. If you need to use a dryer, you may use it in our house.
There is also WIFI Broadband Internet available in the apartment and the password will be supplied to you on entry. Although you can connect to the WIFI, we live a hinterland area where the speed is quite slow - around 1.4Mbps download and 0.54Mbps upload commonly. We often switch to our using our personal mobiles on 'mobile broadband' setting when needing faster downloads.
We also have a portacot, high chair and baby bath to share with you if required.
We will almost always be present at our house (separate to your apartment) during your stay as I'm a stay at home mum. We will give you your space and privacy, but feel free to knock if you need anything at all. We also have a beagle dog that lives outside that will appreciate a pat if you want to oblige. We also have 10 chickens roaming in a large enclosure behind your flat.
The best thing about this neighbourhood is you get the relaxed country acerage feel with abundant bird life, whilst still being 5 mins drive to all the shops you need at Mudgeeraba Market and 1 min drive to a 24/7 convenience store.
The biggest shopping centre in the state - Robina Town Centre is just 12 mins drive away. The theme parks are 20 min drive straight down the highway and beautiful Burleigh beach and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary are just 15 mins away.
Surfers Paradise is 30 mins drive away. Coolangatta Gold Coast Airport is 20 mins drive away and the Brisbane Airport is 1 hour drive away.
There is a bus stop 900m away, but this apartment is set in acerage hinterland and public transport is not always available to every destination. Hence, having a car is a good option.
The Village Market is 5 mins away, large Robina Shopping Centre is 12 mins away, and the most beautiful beach on the Gold Coast, Burleigh Heads Beach, is just 15 mins drive away. Robina & Varsity Lakes Train Stations are around a 10 min drive away.
The theme parks are 20 min drive straight down the highway and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary are just 15 mins.
You will have your own seperate apartment and patio to yourselves, as well as your own private driveway. Our house is about 30m away and we will almost always be present at our own house during your stay as I'm a stay at home mum. We will give you your space and privacy, but feel free to knock if you need anything at all. We also have a beagle dog, Lucy, that lives outside that will appreciate a pat if you want to oblige. We also have 12 chickens and 1 friendly cat.
Please note that all additional guests over two adults, including babies and children, will be charged $20 per night extra, for up to 8 people total. This is to compensate for the extra bedroom, linens, power, water, baby necessities, etc that any extra guests would use. Please enter the exact number of guests that will be staying in our apartment, including babies and children, thank you.
No smoking inside, but we do allow smoking outside in the grassed driveway. We allow pets (at our discretion) if they will get along with our beagle dog (she gets along with most animals). No pets are allowed inside the apartment however, but the property is fenced for them to be outdoors.
Pool gates must always be closed (as we have a two-year old) and all other gates must always be closed (to keep our dog safe). After using the spa, please always put the lid back on top and notify us asap if you have any issues at all.
Screen doors must always be closed to keep pests out, and doors must always be locked when you are not in.
You can also invite guests over to stay during the day (with our permission first) as long as they also abide by the above.
