About the Studio Apartment:
The private, Studio Apartment is newly renovated, as of Dec. 15, 2016. It has a private entrance from our front porch. The apartment floor and all of the furniture is new/walls freshly painted. There is a brand new Queen-size Sealy Posturepedic mattress on a low platform bed frame. There is also a beautiful brand new full-size sofa-bed with an upgraded mattress.
The room is lined with windows on two-sides, letting in plenty of natural light. There is also a large mirror, closet space, and a chest for your things. Some house plants and treasures from our travels also give good energy to the room.
Note: The house is located up on a hill off of a main road, and there is a highway that runs below. You can hear it from the apartment a bit. It isn't very loud, and it hasn't been a big issue for our guests, but we do want to let you know that it's audible just for full disclosure.
There is a full-bath/shower and a small kitchen with a full-size fridge, 4-burner stove, microwave, coffee pot, electronic water kettle, kitchen supplies, etc.
- Full Kitchen
- Wireless Internet
- Full Bath
- Front porch - great for your morning coffee :)
About the House:
This is a 6 bedroom house in Pleasantville, a beautiful town in Westchester County - one of the most affluent counties in the country. The house is full of windows, has a porch in the front, and deck in the back. It sits on the top of a hill off the main road.
This Studio is attached to our family home - but completely private with private entrance. And we are a very welcoming family.
You get keys to the Studio and if you're coming by car you can also park in the driveway. You have total privacy of this space and shared use of the front porch.

I am the second of 4 sisters. I just moved back to New York (where I grew up) from living the past 6 years in Central America. I was in the Peace Corps in El Salvador from 2010-2012 and 2013-2016 studied and worked in Costa Rica. My work and passions are nature-based healing and education. I continue to work in that field now in the New York area.
I love music, nature and animals. I love sports. I love to hike, to write, read, draw, practice Yoga and meditate.
I'm fluent in Spanish.
