House with view on the Oslo fjord, well suited for families with kids. Close to beaches, hiking trails and the ferry to Oslo city center.
Our house is a very relaxed space, so no worries if you have active kids. It is still very cozy, with wooden floors and the rooms are bright. There is one big balcony with a view on the Oslo fjord where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee or tea while watching the sun rise. At the back, going out from the living room, we have a terrace that leads out in the forrest. In July the blueberries starts to ripe, and they grow right on the terrace step. There is also a nice fireplace to warm you on colder days.
You will get all the house to yourself.
We will stay in our boat, only 10 minutes away. If we are not out travelling (typically in July/August and weekends) we will be available for you anytime. Of course we are working during the day, but you can call us any time and we will help you as soon as we can.
Note that there are many stairs to get up to the house, and the house also have 3 floors which are not secured for toddlers.
- For the sake of our neighbours, it should be reasonably quiet after 11 pm
- If you need to smoke, please use the table by the post-boxes and not the balcony or terrace. Again, it is more comfortable for the neighbours :)
We live in Nesodden, a peninsula close to Oslo, Norway, with our twin boys. Christian is working as an IT developer and Cathrine is working in the business too. We used to rent out a flat in Oslo via airbnb's service, and this was very positive and a fun thing to do. We got to know many nice people at the time. Thanks to this experience, we know how it is to be a host as well.
