This apartment is in a multi-unit building. We ask that all guests enjoy themselves but be respectful of their neighbors. We have taken as many sound-proofing measures as possible between floors, but a small amount of noise may occasionally be heard from above as in any multi-unit building. Please keep this in mind if you are very easily disturbed or require absolute silence (I personally have not found it to be a problem when staying here, but everyone is different).
A $50 charge will be applied to your security deposit if the parking lot access card is not returned to it's location by the main door prior to check-out.
No smoking inside the house.
No pets please.
No candles or open flames. Battery operated lanterns are available in cabinet above the refrigerator in case of a power outage.
This rental is located in the Mystic River floodplain. All bookings are subject to emergency cancellation in the case of a hurricane or other storm surge event. Full or pro-rated refunds will be issued. Refunds will be limited to the total rental amount collected by the host, occupancy tax and security deposit only. We assume no liability for Airbnb booking fees, transportation costs, alternate accommodations or other incidental expenses associated with the emergency cancellation.
After spending 6 years as a consultant in the IT field, I recently became a licensed real estate agent and full-time real estate investor. I enjoy fixing up old houses to bring them back to their former glory and creating great places for people to visit or live.
I was born in Denver, CO, lived in RI for a few years and pretty much grew up in Mystic, CT.
I have been having a great time sharing my hometown with travelers of all sorts by hosting them in my downtown Mystic vacation rentals.
