Welcome to the peaceful and serene town of Munds Park! If you’re seeking some tranquility in the “high country” of Arizona, you really need to spend some time in this friendly little town. At an elevation of 6,600ft, the daytime high temperatures in Munds Park are typically 15-25 degrees cooler than metropolitan Phoenix. Located just 90 minutes north of Phoenix, Munds Park is a great choice for a brief vacation. Flagstaff, Sedona, and the Grand Canyon are all a short drive away. See you soon!
Our cozy ranch-style home in Munds Park is nestled amongst oak and pine trees, on a very quiet residential street. Inside you’ll find four bedrooms, including a large master (king bed), guest room (queen bed), kids’ room (dual bunkbeds), and the converted office (twin bed). All beds except the office feature memory foam mattresses or toppers. There are two bathrooms… one in the main hallway (full bathtub), and a private one for the master (dual vanities, oversized shower). The kitchen contains updated stainless steel appliances… electric smoothtop range, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. The dining table seats 4-6 people, plus a breakfast bar seats 3. The living room has a couch, loveseat, and recliner. There is more than 1,600SF of total living space. Outside, you’ll find a covered front porch, a private rear deck (off the master bedroom), and a fenced backyard. We certainly wouldn’t blame you if you choose to completely disconnect from electronics and technology while staying at our “cabin”. For those who can’t or won’t abstain from the Web, though, we do have wireless high-speed Internet (Wi-Fi). The living room, master bedroom, and kids’ room all feature flat-screen HDTV’s with DVD players and Netflix. However, there is no cable or satellite TV.
Although Munds Park does not have a traditional grocery store, there are two gas stations, a convenience store, a restaurant & bar, a post office, and an 18-hole golf course. There are abundant hiking and mountain-biking trails, such as Crystal Point Loop and Frog Tank Loop. Locally, Odell Lake provides fishing, canoeing, or kayaking options, too. During your downtime, don’t forget to read the local Pinewood News!
As the home owners, we are also the property managers. We are very accessible via phone, text, or email.
