The house consists of a large open living room downstairs, two bedrooms and a living room upstairs, a bathroom and a kitchen. On long summer evenings enjoy a barbecue on the terrace! The house has a large garden with fruit trees and is located in a charming village. Four kilometers from the nearest beach and a short drive away from some of the best beaches in Sweden. There are loads of great places to visit in the area. There is a bus to the train station and easy to get to Malmö and Copenhagen.
My place is perfect for couples and families with kids. The house consists of a large open living room downstairs, two bedrooms and a living room upstairs, a bathroom and a kitchen. On long summer evenings enjoy a barbecue on the terrace! The house has a large closed garden with fruit trees and is located in a charming village with a beautiful medieval church. The house was originally built as a foundry and then used as a mechanical workshop. Later on it was converted into an artist's studio and then a summer house. It still has the rustic feel of an old industrial building.
There is a washing machine in the bathroom and a dishwasher in the kitchen.
Grill for barbecues on the terrace.
You will be able to access the whole house.
I will be available on my mobile phone. Also, my next door neighbour Johan will be able to assist you if you have any questions during your stay.
Cleaning must be done when leaving. Leaving it as good as you found it. Heating is not nessesary during the summer, but a lovely fireplace can be used for additional heating if nessesary.
I work as a graphic designer in Copenhagen. I'm also a visiting professor in graphic design at Malmö University.
My two boys and I love spending as much time as we can at "Gamla Smedjan". It's been our second home for a long time. We love the calm and relaxing atmosphere. But also playing football in the garden, going to the beach, playing games, listening to music, hanging out, seeing friends, cooking. All those things that you never seem to have time doing in the city. We hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do!
