Come stay at our cozy and adorable bungalow in the heart of Durham. Our house is a short walk to restaurants, shopping and coffee shops and we are located close to Duke's East and West Campus. The house has a sweet front porch with rocking chairs, a small garden and 4 chickens in the back yard.
You have a house to yourself! (We'll have friends coming to the yard to care for the chickens, but they will not need to enter the house.) Our place is good for couples, families, and solo adventurers.
- Dogs are ok, but other furry animals will bring us allergies :(
I'm an east coast native - grew up in florida, spent 20+ years in Boston and am now settling in somewhere in the middle here in Durham, NC! I love living in Durham - I enjoy the smaller city, trees everywhere, welcoming community, good local food, and the sound of the train running by at all hours.
I am an office manager by day and beekeeper/drummer/chicken wrangler by night. I like to spend time working on various projects and enjoying the seasons. Summers find me swimming in the Eno and walking to the corner for a LocoPop!
I live with my partner in a sweet bungalow in Old West Durham. We are both queer, latinx who love our community here and value building a sweet home for folks to come stay at. They are a preschool teacher and gardener. You can see their work in the beautiful garden on the side of the house. We are welcoming of anyone who is respectful of our space and our lives and will treat our home with care. We have filled out home with art made by friends and community members and with plants grown with care. And with chickens! lots of chicken art!
We hope you will enjoy staying at our humble and sweet home.
