Our place is absolute waterfront. Close to the beach, nightlife, and public transport. You’ll love our place because of the views, the location, and the ambience. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
It is unique because of the glorious breathtaking water views. It's one of the best studios as it's on the top floor and has views across to Nelly Bay beach; the marina and the mountains. Bush walks at the front door and the beach as well as a top class restaurant and two swimming pools. All the benefits of five-star living.
Make use of the five-star resort. There's nothing more relaxing that lying by one of the pools. Have dinner at the restaurant or sunset drinks at the bar.
Please let us know if you are interested in renting both of our dual key apartments (ideal for 2 couples or a family) and we can check availability. The one adjoining 1312 has a kitchenette. You can open up the balcony door. The apartments are in a five star resort and you have full access to swimming pools and restaurant. There is no room service available from the restaurant.
Best of Magnetic (next to IGA at the ferry terminal) manage our apartment and can also cater for late arrivals.
Please ensure the air conditioning is turned off when you leave.
We do not live on the island so we will not be available during your stay. However, we are only an email or phone call away.
We are happy to offer you 15% discount on our Whitsunday sailing tours if you book with us direct and let us know you stayed with us. Book on (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) and (URL HIDDEN) is our website address. Our tallship does daily Whitehaven sails including snorkelling and daily sunset sails.
One of our favourite restaurants when we lived on the island is Man Friday - a stroll towards Nelly Bay beach which you can see from the balcony. Does a great combination of steaks and Mexican food. Caters for vegetarians. Geoffrey Bay is only a 10 minute walk across the hill heading to Horseshoe Bay and you can get there via a spectacular walkway over the cliffs. The Forts Walk (approx half an hour one way) is an absolute must with a good chance of spotting a koala in the wild. The Forts are the best preserved WWII fortification on the eastern seaboard. Climbing up to one of the turrets provides the best view of the whole island.
Horseshoe Bay is the best spot to watch the sunset.
Marlin and Picnic Bay pubs provide well priced food. Two supermarkets are IGA (at the doorstep) and Foodworks - still only a walk away. Picnic Bay is a favourite swimming spot of ours. Picnic and Horseshoe Bay provide stinger nets in season. Balding Bay is our favourite beach. Peppers usually provide excellent meals.
