Beautiful cosy cottage located right beside the world famous Guinness brewery. Explore one of Dublin's oldest and most interesting neighbourhoods known as the Liberties , while within walking distance of the city centre.
Located in a quiet cul-de-sac my historic circa 1890 s cottage has been lovingly restored with all the modern comforts you need. Remarkably quiet property considering location to city .
High speed Wifi and a great coffee machine help you settle right in after a long flight.
The cottage has one bedroom with a double bed. We also have a sofa bed in the living area and this can sleep 1/2 people. It is not very big so we recommend 3 as the ideal number of guests.
Guests will have the whole property for the duration of their stay.
My friend Aoife or I will meet you at the property and make sure you get settled in. We will show you how everything works and tell you the best local spots to enjoy.
This is an original Guiness cottage . It is therefore small . Beds would not suit very tall people . The use of the hops in the manufacture of Guiness ( which is literally beside you ) is very attractive to seagulls so you feel at times you are by the seaside with the noise from them . I like the sound of them , you may not . The bedroom is bright with daylight in the morning . Eye shades are available if you need pitch dark to sleep .
You are in the heart of the city so it may not always be the cleanest part of Dublin . Nothing horrific though . You will hear no traffic due to being in a cul de sac therefore delightfully removed from passing traffic noises . There is a diverse mix of people in the Liberties area . Young , old , hipsters , working class , middle class , artists , actors , chancers and lots of tourists exploring the area . It really is the happening area of Dublin right now and I am very proud and privileged to live there as the area develops more and more since ireland has crawled out of recession . Dublin City is alive and well and more than ready to welcome you and I hope you enjoy the area as much as I do .
- - Dublin is a great city and has wonderful nightlife to enjoy but we have a strict no party rule in the property. Antisocial behaviour in the property or communal areas is not acceptable and you will be asked to leave the property. - No stag or hen parties. Sorry! If you book and arrive as a party group, unfortunately, we wont be able to accept your booking. - It's a lovely neighbourhood so we ask that you respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 9pm. - We don't accept groups under 21 years of age. Guests under the age of 21 are still entirely welcome – they will just need to be accompanied by lead guest over the age of 25. Failure to adhere to property rules will result in loss of deposit and/or cancellation of your booking. Now thats the rules out of the way, let me extend a warm welcome to Dublin. You are booking a wonderful property and hope you feel at home during your stay. We look forward to hosting you and sharing our wonderful city with you.
