We would like to invite you to stay in a lovely, spacious, private double room with balcony, private bathroom and access to the garden and roof top. Jeewan Apartments are very central located (Chetak Circle) with the walking distance to the Old City and Fateh Sagar and short ride to Bus/Train Station and Udaipur Airport.
Being located out of tourist, overcrowded tracks we’re offering you the chance to stay in peaceful house surrounded by a beautiful garden.
Hidden in the bustling centre of Udaipur, these four elegant flats welcome you to a haven of calm and offer the chance of a tranquil and comfortable retreat from the usual throb of Indian crowds.
There is a green garland around the flats. This bursts into colour from October onwards, the flowers and blooms remain until the arrival of the monsoons. The garden was planted in July 2014 just before the repair and restoration of the flats began. It is haven today, a place from where you can observe thousands of parrots moments after dawn and sunset as they sweep the skies.
Behind the flats there is a sizable triangle which produces a variety of vegetables and herbs. Lettuce, broccoli, leeks, tomatoes, okra, aubergine and many others, all in their own season. These grow mostly untroubled by little creatures in uncontaminated, natural soil.
Our comfortable double room has a private bathroom and the balcony. You will have a access to spacious, living room with dining area, balcony and well-equipped kitchen. All rooms are air-conditioned. There is a free WiFi (in the whole flat) and a TV with cable channels in the living room. All our guests have access to the gardens as well as to the roof terrace.
Healthy, generous breakfast is included in the tariff and can be served inside the flats, in the gardens or on the roof terrace.
We are happy to help you with a cleaning and there is a possibility of laundry service as well.
Double bedroom in our house is a perfect choice for COUPLEAS, FRIENDS, FEMALE TRAVELLERS.
We will always be happy to recommend eating places, shopping possibilities and anything else - all within easy reach.
We can assist with making travel arrangements and car rental.
I belong to one of Udaipur's oldest families who served the princely state of Mewar for generations. My grandfather Dr. Mohan Singh Mehta founded several institutions which sought to provide equal but a high standard of education to all, as well as work towards the uplifting of the weak in Udaipur's rural parts.
I am an author and a historian with degrees from Smith College, USA and Cambridge University, U.K. I speak German. I founded Qilasaaz (an organisation for the upliftment of talented women artisans). I spend much of my time writing, reading and gardening.
