Studio apartment with lots of daylight and scandinavian style interior. It's a 3 minute walk from Giesing Bahnhof (S-Bahn, metro, bus & tram station), so you can reach the city centre in 10 minutes. Perfect for single travellers or two persons; you'll have it to yourself. Elevator, bathtub and fully equipped kitchen make it extra comfy.
Cool neighbourhood and you reach the city centre in no time. My favourite thing is to take the tram and drive straight to the Isar for a great walk by the river!
I live in the fourth floor (fear not, the house has an elevator), looking over the roofs of the city. The apartment gets a lot of light. I like a minimal, yet cozy interior. I'm still furnishing, so the photos will change from time to time ;)
Kitchen and bathroom are separate from the main room. You can use all of the kitchen equipment (stove, kettle, french press, etc., no dishwasher). The bathroom has a shower + bathtub, so feel free to have some bubble baths.
The main room looks out to a street – it's noisy when you leave the windows open, but quiet with windows closed. The kitchen window looks out to a quiet and green backyard. My neighbours are quiet and peaceful, and you won't hear much from them. I expect you to be quiet around them, too.
I will provide towels, ample space for your stuff, and of course you can use my Wifi and stereo (mp3 and record player).
You will have the full apartment to yourself.
Please note that if you arrive with more people or different people than in your reservation (e.g. you booked for 1, but 2 persons arrive; or you booked for yourself but someone else shows up), the booking will become invalid and I will not be able to host you.
I will be away, but you can reach me anytime over AirBnB. If there's an emergency, my friends in Munich will help.
A note on accessibility, if you use a wheelchair: The apartment is accessible with a wheelchair. However, my kitchen and bathroom are both very narrow. I would therefore ask you to message me before booking, so we can figure out if everything will be accessible to you!
Hi, I'm Amelie! I live in Munich, currently studying sociology.
What do I do with my free time? I like cycling, reading and little naps on my sofa. I also like writing and editing, and I've recently founded a tiny publishing house with a friend. We have so far published an alternative city guide to Munich – so if you're looking for some alternative spots in Munich, I'd be happy to recommend!
What do I do on AirBnB? I love Munich, but sometimes I leave my hometown to travel. I have airbnb-ed in Paris once, and it was great! Since then, I moved into my own apartment, which I'm happy to rent out while I'm away. Through sharing apartments, I hope we can all save some money and waste while gaining experiences and a home-away-from-home on our travels.
Obviously I'm only just getting started with this profile, but I hope to collect some positive references soon. If there's anything you want to know, message me any time!
