The place is very clean
The bed was very firm
The backyard is large and has a table and chairs to hang out in
The living room is really nice although we didn’t use it
There was no one else there so we had the place to ourselves
It is two blocks away from downtown.
The less than good
The bed was very firm. I know I said this above because some people like a firm bed. I don’t. I mean it was really firm. Great for some, not for me.
There was no one else there. IE, no host. Again, good for some, I like to at least have someone check in and see if all is good. We had to double check the photos of the bedroom to make sure we were in the right room and the right house.
The address is not lit so if you are coming in at night, it’s the 2nd house on the street next to the big house with off-street parking. Otherwise, you are checking photos to see if you are in the right house.
Ok, I’m learning that parking on premises may mean parking on a really busy street in front of the house. I don’t consider this parking on premises.
The sink is really high. I’m 5’1” and had to stand on my tip toes to brush my teeth.
Little noisy. Busy street near downtown so that’s to be expected and we weren’t surprised.
No communication from the host. When I booked the host acknowledge the booking. There were instructions on how to check in, where the key was, which room was ours, etc. But then radio silence. I tried to call him when we couldn’t find the place. I texted him. I called again about parking. When I texted asking if there was other parking for my car I got a text back saying ‘no’. That was it.
Overall, the place is a perfect crash pad. It’s cheap, it’s very clean, it’s near downtown and I’m sure Adam is a really nice guy if he is around. Just not perfect for me.
